How we alleviate poverty
The capabilities to produce food, to earn income from agriculture and to have access to housing are critical if people are to lift themselves out of poverty.
We Effect endeavours to make a difference and contribute to alleviating poverty and injustice within three main working areas: Rural Development, Housing and Land. In short: agriculture and housing on solid ground.
All our projects are permeated with an active gender perspective. Furthermore, a key to success for projects within rural development and housing is the stable access to financial services. Hence, we aim at helping partner organisations and their members generate sustainable solutions through savings, credits and insurances.
